Prior to January 30, 2000 you could have described our church as a typical American, non-denominational, evangelical church. We had a noted children's ministry, and a vibrant young adult church, which was growing and gaining the attention of the community.

Our church would have been described as a safe place with many denominations represented in our church. We grew from 170 to 1700 in attendance in seven years. We also were in the middle of a building program to relieve our cramped conditions. But God had plans of His own.

On that day in January 2000 God began a release of His power in our church. In less than 120 days virtually everything you could find in the book of Acts began to become our experience. In the midst of this process I many times was somewhat distressed and our church was dramatically shaken (read the article on our web page titled "When God Invades").

In a relatively short period of time (a few years) hundreds had received physical healing, hundreds had received freedom from torment by evil spirits, and hundreds had received eternal life through Jesus Christ. Many of the healings involved terminal diseases and included recovery from a death-coma (which is documented). One of the more dramatic healings included a long time staff pastor of our church whom God healed from a terminal disease in an instantaneous fashion.
